About Us

Luminous Life Art Therapy
Our Why
I started Luminous Life Art Therapy with a simple belief: healing is not about fixing what is broken, but about uncovering the light that’s already within you. Art has always been my way of making sense of the world—through colors, textures, and shapes, I’ve discovered how creativity can hold both sorrow and joy, both loss and renewal.
That same belief guides my work with clients. As a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and Art Therapist (ATR-P), I provide a safe and supportive space where individuals can navigate life transitions such as grief and loss, infertility, postpartum challenges, identity shifts, trauma, and recovery. My approach is gentle yet intentional: I honor the messy, non-linear nature of healing while offering evidence-based techniques and creative interventions to help you move forward.
You don’t have to be an artist to benefit from art therapy. In fact, many clients come to me with little or no art background, and soon discover that the process itself—rather than the product—creates room for growth, insight, and resilience. Sessions may include painting, collage, photography, clay, simple mark-making, and more - all tailored to your unique needs and comfort level.
My professional background includes a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from Saint Mary of the Woods College and clinical experience in behavioral health hospitals, recovery programs, and community-based settings. I also bring the perspective of 20 years of service in the military, which has shaped my understanding of resilience, leadership, and the power of safe, structured support.
The purpose of Luminous Life is simple: to nurture your soul, hold space for your story, and help you create wholeness through the healing power of art.
